RF/Analog Design Engineer

 

 

As a leading designer of ISM single chip transceivers, BlueChip is constantly looking for new talented and ambitious RF designers. Our company pioneered the concept of Direct Conversion (zero IF) transceivers for Low Power Radio, and we are involved in all steps of chip design, modular reference layouts and base band firmware. Our particular skills are ultra low power consumption and compact designs. BlueChip is a company with strong international relations and is also  co-operating with Micrel Semiconductors located in San Jose, California.

 

Our office is located at Strandveien 13, Lysaker, Norway. Telenor Venture AS (Norwegian PTT's venture branch) is our major institutional shareholder.

 

Responsibilities:

Design, test, troubleshoot, manufacture RF/Analog circuits and systems for wireless communications applications.  This position will require the individual to handle multiple projects concurrently and to interface with customers on a technical level, domestically and abroad.

 

Major challenges:

·        450MHz, 900MHz & 2400MHz RF designs

·        Development of new RF modules and reference designs

·        Customisation of current designs

·        Interface to customers and partners domestically and abroad

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Must possess a minimum of a BSEE/MSEE coupled with 5 years of experience and be knowledgeable in all facets of design and manufacture of RF products. Specific experience in LNA's , power amps, switches, power supplies, transmission lines and general electronics. Proven ability to design RF and Analog circuitry (using discrete devices or IC's) is required.
